“O Lord, thou wilt hear the desire of the meek; thou wilt strengthen their heart, thou wilt incline thy ear to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more” (10:17-18).

Play the long game.

There are times when it may feel as though God stands afar when trouble brews in the heart or the world is upside down. That is the cunning of the evil spirit. If he can shake our foundation then he can divert our attention from Jesus. This is only temporary. God does hear us. He strengthens us. In the long run-He wins and those of us who follow Him rejoice in the victory.
