“Keep me as the apple of thy eye; hide me in the shadow of thy wings” (17:8)

A profoundly simple request. Yet, since we know these to always be true as long as we remain on the straight and narrow we can meditate on these as affirmations: I am the Apple of God’s eye. I am secure in the shadow of His mighty wings.
