“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; yeah wait for the Lord” (Psalm 25:14).

Wait for the Lord. Be Strong. Take Courage. Simple mantras. Consoling mantras. It’s the waiting that can make the moment suffer. In that waiting is the unknown and within that unknown can lurk fear, doubt, hopelessness. Only the evil enemy lurks in the shadows and so too those feelings are mere shadows that hold no weight for a God that loves us.

It is in the trial of waiting that we will soon come to our moment of Glory through God’s grace. For every evening that falls, there comes the dawn. Wait for the Lord. Be Strong. Take Courage.
